Devlog: Systems Overhaul & UI Upgrades

Project Apollo’s latest update launches a new era for starship survival. Systems are smarter, feedback is sharper, and every turn packs more tension.

What's New?

  • System Deterioration Reimagined: Now, every system keeps its own breakdown timer, so no more unfair double hits. Reset cycles ensure every choice matters.
  • Protection & Shielding: Shields scale with health and new protection logic can shield normal systems from disaster—if you plan well.
  • Critical Failures & Recovery: When a vital system tanks, it’s dramatic. There’s even a “force recovery” that might revive the dead—if fate allows.
  • Unified Modifiers & Events: All damage and protection logic now lives in one place. New events trigger dynamic effects and are easy to expand.

UI & UX Upgrades

  • System Selection Mode: You can now multi-select. New modules for logs, turn tracking, and game over screens make tough calls clearer.
  • Notifications & Animations: Toasts stack and animate, health bars update live, and failures/recoveries get their own effects.
  • Visual Polish: Prettier CSS, harmonized colors, and full device responsiveness.

  • Centralized Logic: All the core code is streamlined. Less bloat, more speed.
  • Docs & Tweaks: README is up to date, and the little things all add up.
